Filled with movement, color, and natural forms, Tobin’s work invites you to look up, move around, step inside, and discover new connections between art and the living world. Learn about Steve Tobin’s work and discover how his sculptures interact with the surrounding landscape in the changing light.   

Begin your walk in the darkness before sunrise. Listen for the call of owls as you breathe in the crisp fall air. Watch the sunrise transform the sculptures as the first light of day reveals new colors, shapes, and shadows. Enjoy the walk back to the Visitor Center as the morning light brightens the landscape.

What to Expect:

•          Meet your guide at the Visitor Center Patio
•          A roughly 1.25-mile guided walk covering the exhibition 
•      Dark conditions at the start of the tour 
•         Walking surfaces that include pavement, grass, and gravel, with some hills
•          Restrooms will be open

What to Wear & Carry:

•          Comfortable shoes with good tread
•          Dress in layers appropriate for the weather. Early mornings can be cool!  
•      Flashlight for low-light conditions at the start of the tour 
•          Water and anything else you may need for a comfortable walk

Please note that there is no charge for children ages 2 and under, nor do they need to register.
