FOR CHILDREN AGES 3-17 WITH ONE FREE ACCOMPANYING ADULT | PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED
Get your hands dirty digging into this composting workshop to learn about the science of decomposition. Use magnifying glasses to explore the center of a compost pile, build your own kits to take home, and learn all about the food that plants need to grow healthy and strong.
About your instructor: Bess Trout is the Senior Gardener for Lucille’s Garden, and she brings over fifteen years’ experience in horticulture and land management to the science of growing a healthy garden. As an admitted “soil nerd,” there is nothing she likes more than digging into how to create the perfect environment for plants to thrive.
