From propagation to preserving, you’ll learn the ins and outs of growing, harvesting, drying, and methods for storing these delightful and useful plants until you need them.

About your instructor: The Herb Society of America is a non-profit educational member organization whose mission is to learn about traditional and modern uses of herbal plants and to share our knowledge with others. The Philadelphia Unit is one of more than 40 member units in The Society, which also provides an at-large membership. The unit maintains the Fragrant Garden at Tyler Arboretum and the 18th Century Medicinal Garden at Historic Yellow Springs.

• Arrive early to check in at the Visitor Center and enjoy the 5-minute walk to the Edible Garden Classroom.
